Srirangam Temple
Srirangam is a neighbourhood in the city of Tiruchirappalli in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. A river island, Srirangam is bounded by the Kaveri River on one side and its distributary Kollidam on the other side. Considered as the first among the 108 Divya Desams, a group of Vishnu temples, it is famous for the Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, the largest temple complex in India and the biggest functioning Hindu temple in the world. Srirangam is also home to a significant population of Sri Vaishnavas (followers of Vishnu).
Srirangam is a state assembly constituency in Tiruchirappalli district in Tamil Nadu. Its State Assembly Constituency number is 139. It comes under Tiruchirappalli Lok Sabha constituency for Parliament elections. It is one of the oldest assembly segments in Tamil Nadu existence since 1952 election. It is one of the 234 State Legislative Assembly Constituencies in Tamil Nadu, in India. The Devendrakula Velalar, Mutharaiyar and Brahmin play a major role in Srirangam assembly constituency, as a majority of voters are from these communities.

In 2024 parliamentary elections, our alliance party candidate secured the highest number of votes in all the 4 branches of Shakti Kendra under Mr. Karthikeyan, Vice President of Srirangam Mandal under Trichy Constituency.

A sapling in the name of mother
On the morning of 15 July 2024, the tree sapling ceremony was held in the district office under the leadership of the district president Mr. Rajasekaran ji.
Mr. Sudhakar Reddy attended the tree sapling ceremony as the special guest and graced the occasion.
This function was named as “A SAPLING IN THE NAME OF MOTHER”
